The Children We Charged To Court Are Over 7 Years Old, Some Are 13—ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi (VIDEO)
As the spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, a figure of authority, has confirmed a crucial legal point—no one younger than seven can go to court.
He clarified that a minor, if found to be involved in a serious crime, can be taken to court, regardless of their age.
He made this statement in an interview with Channels TV, addressing the public’s questioning for the arrest and trial of 67 young children in Abuja.
These individuals were accused of treason, looting of public property, and trying to overthrow President Tinubu’s administration during the End Bad Governance protest, sparking a heated debate on the legal eligibility of minors in such cases.

‘’Those that are not criminally liable under the law are those below the age of seven. Once you are more than seven, you can be charged to court. The only thing is that you have to follow specific procedures to do that. None of them is less than seven. I think the youngest should be 13.
The fact that you are 13 years old doesn’t mean you cannot be charged in court. In the Children and Young Persons Act, we can still charge you in court.
We have charged them to court for this on behalf of the Federal government of Nigeria. The police have taken the bull by the horns.
A short-statured Ghanaian woman has sparked online debate after making contentious remarks regarding her romantic relationship preferences.
During a recent interview with De God Son TV, the diminutive lady expressed her aversion to dating guys of shorter height despite her diminutive Ghanaian woman. She remarked that short men do not match her “specifications” for relationships.

Bisi Alimi further said that his making his sexual orientation public doesn’t mean he did to throw a party, but rather to shun all expected people placed on him.
”I am not coming out to spite you; I have been gay since way back; I didn’t just become gay yesterday.”
