Stand-up comedian Anita Afoke Asuoha, popularly known as Warri Pikin, shared a touching revelation about her struggle with suicide. She unveiled this disturbing past incident on World Suicide Prevention Day.

She posted on Instagram, detailing the heavy financial burden that almost led her to end her life in 2018. Her spouse had fallen prey to a motivational speaker’s persuasive presentation, prompting him to embark on various business pursuits aimed at wealth accumulation.

Unfortunately, these endeavours drove them into a staggering debt of N22 million.

Asuoha candidly confessed:

“I contemplated ending my life so you wouldn’t have to. It was a specific moment on June 6, at 3 p.m., in 2018, when I felt my life hung by a thread due to the overwhelming pressure.”

“Life has knocked me down, tossed me back and forth like I’m on a barber’s chair,” she admitted.

She also shared pictures of Irene C. Anaenye, the woman who saved her life that fateful day at Garki Hospital.

Asuoha gratefully acknowledged her rescuer, stating,

“Everyone! This is Irene C. Anaenye, the angel God sent to save me on June 6, 2018, at Garki Hospital.”
