Nintendo Music is a fantastic new app from the company behind the video gaming brand and its many, many games. If you’re a fan of Nintendo games and their soundtracks, you’ll love this app.

It’s similar to the Spotify app in that it’s a music streaming service but with a focus on Nintendo’s iconic game soundtracks. This app is now available to Galaxy devices via the Play Store, making it easily accessible to all Nintendo fans.

Nintendo Music, a brand-new mobile app, is a nostalgic journey that brings the greatest music soundtracks from the best Nintendo games right to your fingertips.

Games include Super Mario and its sequels, The Legend of Zelda series, Donkey Kong, and more, evoking fond memories of your gaming adventures.

And even Animal Crossing has thousands of pieces of music within the new Nintendo Music app. So far, however, it looks like only New Horizons is represented.

‘In the future,’ Nintendo says, ‘more soundtracks from more Nintendo video games will be added to the Music app,’ promising a diverse and ever-expanding collection of music to keep you entertained.

And so, no, no one has designed a mod to play hourly music from the original Animal Crossing for the GameCube, but there’s still time. Two massive playlists of New Horizons and K.K. Slider songs come preloaded, and both flavors of Slider’s catalog – ‘performance’ and ‘instrumental’ – come with Slider’s beeping voice if that’s your thing, giving you the power to customize your music experience.

The app is pretty robust-looking. Lots of cool options; there’s even one to stretch the tracks—handy for older 8-bit OSTs, which are often broken up into shorter loops
