Rapper, Falz, has come out to speak on the faceoff he has been having with social critic, VeryDarkMan.

In a fresh interview with media personality, Adesope, Falz was asked what he thinks about VDM’s activism and he responded saying he knows very little about it.

‘’I don’t know much of it, prior to the first video he shared talking about me and my dad. I hadn’t seen much of him. What I had seen was some stuff about people that didn’t have NAFDAC numbers and selling products and at the time when I saw some of those clips, I was like this person must be doing something right, this is a good course. Asides that, I haven’t seen much of his work”

Speaking on how VDM ‘’attacked” him and his dad’s character in the video the social critic released, Falz said;

‘’One day, this person thought it wise to turn on his ring light, sit down and via direct statements, insinuations and innuendos, allege that myself and my dad connived with a certain individual to manipulate justice and bribe the EFCC and adding that the reason I have done this is because I have a homosexual relationship with Bobrisky, going further to say that my posturing as an activist is false.”

Falz said he felt horrible when VDM made the statements in the video he released in September. He said

‘’Absolutely no proof. Why would you just come and allege all these things with absolutely nothing to support this statement.”

Falz said via his counsel, he has written to the person VDM claims made the statements about him and his dad in the said audio tape and that the said person admitted that no money was paid to him or his dad.

‘’So now you have to defend yourself because he who alleges must prove. I have gone to court for defamation of character because clearly that is what this is. The case of defamation is still very much in court” Falz said

The rapper said a high court had instructed VDM to take down the video where he made the allegations against him and his father, but he has refused to obey the court.

‘’In my defamation suit, I am going to ask for damages because that is the only remedy available in a civil suit. I would have you know that there is a criminal angle to defamation. I chose not to go that route. He could very well have been arrested. Now the narrative is that me and my family want to oppress this guy because we have legal muscle….Come on man! I do not look for trouble. I am always  on my own. You set your ring light and began to say all these things about me and you expect me to sit down”

He said he had a conversation with VDM on the phone and that VDM was very defensive.

’He said to me shebi you are a lawyer, go to court!” This person in my opinion wanted the litigation. What he thinks that does for him, I do not know. I do not know if he thinks it will posture him as some sought of hero but he clearly wanted the litigation,” Falz added

When questioned about her explanation, she stated that she sees shorter men as resembling infants, even though they are adults.

“I have a 7-year-old son, so dating a short man feels like dating my son,” she explained, finding parallels between her personal and romantic lives.

Bisi further added that an average man expects to follow a predefined path of growth, which includes teenage years through university level, to get a degree and a job.

He noted that he couldn’t follow the predefined path of growth, which was why he came out to declare his sexual orientation.

Bisi Alimi further said that his making his sexual orientation public doesn’t mean he did to throw a party, but rather to shun all expected people placed on him.
