Much-Awaited Samsung ONE UI 7 Update Is Near, But New Galaxy AI Features On Hold
It is frequently stated that an update is “long-awaited,” however, this statement could not be more accurate in this instance.
The Samsung One UI 7 update is anticipated to be forthcoming, however, the initial version will not include some of the most anticipated AI features.
One UI 7 is a result of Google’s Android 15 update, which has been made available to a wide range of Pixel devices.
Samsung’s version of One UI 7 is anticipated to incorporate some timely features, such as an AI summary for quick access to notifications and a revamped set of emojis developed by Samsung’s AI engine.
The AI summary is likely to function substantially like Apple’s version in iOS 18.In regards to this, a well-known source on Twitter/X, @chuncn8888, has noted that the version of One UI 7 that will be released in its entirety will not include “most” of the Galaxy AI features.
This includes AI summaries and AI emojis, specifically. These features will be included in One UI 7.2.
The post does not mention any other features by name, but it could suggest that the initial version of One UI 7 will only include visual enhancements.

The announcement also indicates that the official beta will commence in the coming week, which coincides with previous indications of the Android 15 variant.
The beta is likely to begin in South Korea and the US, with additional features to be introduced later.
It is, however, unlikely that these AI features will be accessible in the early One UI 7 beta, although they may be introduced in the beta prior to the official launch.
