Wizkid Makes History As He Becomes The First Nigerian Singer To Win This British Award
Wizkid, an internationally recognised Nigerian singer, has become the first Nigerian celebrity and singer whose photograph has won a British Photography Award.
Wizkid, whose real name Ayodeji Balogun, made a memorable appearance at the 2023 British Photography Awards in London.
His performance image from this year’s Glastonbury Festival won the Event Category Award at the 2023 British Photography Awards.
Nick Hall, a London freelance photographer and graphic designer, masterfully captured the classic shot.
This is one of the many accomplishments of the artist in the entertainment industry over the years, as he proudly places Nigeria on the worldwide market.

Once again, Nigerian singer Davido has made headlines for proving his status as a rich man with two luxury cars entering Nigeria: a Rolls-Royce and a Tesla Cybertruck.
The musician posted a picture of the trip on social media, his pure white Rolls Royce parked on the runway, ready for shipment.
Another photo depicted the Tesla Cybertruck being loaded into an aircraft to verify the truck’s arrival in Nigeria.
Cubana Chief Priest, another close associate and entrepreneur, also saluted the new cars with an Instagram image. He congratulated Davido on his feats, dubbed him the “GOAT,” and hinted at a festive December with new vehicles added to the singer’s collection.

Show promoter Paul Okoye, popularly called PaulO, has slammed lawyer Deji Adeyanju for attributing Burna Boy to the re-arrest of singer Speed Darlington.
Deji announced on social media earlier today that his client, Speed Darlington, was re-arrested by police officials in Owerri, Imo State, on Tuesday, November 26.
He went on to claim that Burna Boy was responsible for the ”harassment” of his client by police officers.
It was then determined that Speed Darlington had been detained for violating his bail.
In response to the latest information about Speed Darlington’s arrest, Paulo urged Deji to get his facts straight and respect Burna Boy.

Nigerian superstar singer David Adeleke, famously known as Davido, has taken to social media to extend a gibe to Nigerians over his recent interview with a U.S. radio station where he asked Africans in the diaspora not to return to Africa as things are not ‘’good back home.”
In the interview, the singer Davido firmly said the Nigerian economy is in shambles.

The economy is not just good anymore. The pil prices are too high. Imagine a country that produces oil. We produce the oil and we paying more money for oil than a country that imports the oil”.
