RCCG Pastor arraigned for allegedly raping and impregnating his 17-year-old daughter in Lagos
Emmanuel Orekoya, a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, was charged with raping and impregnating his 17-year-old daughter by the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court on Tuesday, February 27.
The Lagos State Government has filed two counts against the defendant for unlawful sexual intercourse and sexual assault.
In November 2022, a viral video supposedly showed the daughter of pastor Orekoya Emanuel of RCCG Wisdom Tabernacle Parish Lawason Lagos stating that her biological father slept with her for more than two years, with her mother’s knowledge.

It was also revealed that the defendant reportedly impregnated his daughter while having sexual relations with her.
Mrs. Abimbola Abolade, the state’s prosecutor, informed the court on Tuesday, February 27, that the defendant committed the crime sometime in 2017 at Jacob Adeleye Street, Odoeran, Itire.
The prosecutor also testified that Orekoya sexually abused the woman by placing his finger into her vagina and his penis into her mouth.
According to the prosecution, Orekoya’s actions violated Section 137 of the Lagos State Criminal Law 2015.

The defendant, however, pled not guilty to the accusations brought against him.
Justice Soladoye rescheduled the trial for April 17, 2024.
A short-statured Ghanaian woman has sparked online debate after making contentious remarks regarding her romantic relationship preferences.
During a recent interview with De God Son TV, the diminutive lady expressed her aversion to dating guys of shorter height despite her diminutive Ghanaian woman. She remarked that short men do not match her “specifications” for relationships.
When questioned about her explanation, she stated that she sees shorter men as resembling infants, even though they are adults.
“I have a 7-year-old son, so dating a short man feels like dating my son,” she explained, finding parallels between her personal and romantic lives.
