Femi Adebayo Told Me He Has Been Invited By The Police Over LGBTQ+ Promotion- Dayo Amusa Reveals In New Video

Dayo Amusa, a prominent Nollywood actress, has taken offense at industry colleague, Femi Adebayo’s statement that his success is her problem. After declaring Bobrisky the best-dressed female at an event in Lagos last weekend, Femi has come under fire on social media.

Dayo also chastised him for making such an announcement in a video that she posted online.

Dayo and Femi’s wife, Aladuke, got into an online altercation on Tuesday night when Aladuke criticised Dayo for criticising her husband in public when she had the option to phone him and voice her displeasure in private. She even went so far as to refer to Dayo as “evil-minded and hyprocrite.”

In response, Dayo reaffirmed her position and cautioned Aladuke against taking it any further. When Femi implied in a remark on Dayo’s page that her issue with him was his success, things took a new turn. Read this, this, and this aswell.

Dayo has responded to him now. The actress labelled Femi a “Ode,” or fool in Yoruba, in an Instagram video for thinking of such a thing. She expressed her disbelief that he would consider something like this simply because they are miscommunicating.

The actress revealed that Femi had contacted her earlier in the day to request that she film another video as a preventative measure.

She expressed her scepticism that it would not impact the event they attended. She said Femi had informed her it was necessary since the police had even invited him to be questioned for his support of homosexuality, and the Muslim Society had phoned him to criticize him for supporting LGBTQ people in Nigeria.

Dayo said that she and Femi had a three-way chat with the event organizer, after which the organizer told her to hold off so she could discuss with her team whether or not Dayo’s damage-control film would be required.

Dayo claimed that she was still awaiting a response when Femi’s wife called her out and denigrated her on social media. She declared that she does not regret her statement that Bobrisky ought never to have won the title of a best-dressed woman at a function.

Bisi further added that an average man expects to follow a predefined path of growth, which includes teenage years through university level, to get a degree and a job.

He noted that he couldn’t follow the predefined path of growth, which was why he came out to declare his sexual orientation.

Bisi Alimi further said that his making his sexual orientation public doesn’t mean he did to throw a party, but rather to shun all expected people placed on him.

”I am not coming out to spite you; I have been gay since way back; I didn’t just become gay yesterday.”
