The 16th edition of the Headies Awards candidates for both voting and non-voting categories have been announced.

With a total of 11 nominations, Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy scored the most nods. The artist will compete in the Album of the Year category against Davido, Rema, Asake, Omah Lay, and Victony.

International artists who have established themselves in the Nigerian music business will also be honoured with this year’s award.

Drake, Future, Selena Gomez, Don Toliver, and Ed Sheeran are among the contenders for the 2023 International Artist of the Year award;
