Palestinian Student Who Was Full Of Joy Over October 7 Hamas Attack Gets UK Student Visa Revoked(Video)
Palestinian Student Who Expresses Joy Over October 7 Hamas Attack Gets UK Student Visa Revoked by the Home Office
The Home Office has cancelled the visa of a Palestinian student who was full of joy over the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel, citing “national security” as the reason for the revocation.

Just one day after Hamas carried out its October 7 attack, Dana Abuqamar, a 19-year-old law student at the University of Manchester, was present at a pro-Palestine demonstration.
Ms. Abuqamar, president of Manchester Friends of Palestine, was captured on camera expressing her pride in the progress made by the Palestinian resistance and stating that she was “really full of joy” during the march.

She is now claiming that by cancelling her student visa on the “baseless” grounds that she poses a “risk to public safety,” the UK Government has “violated her human rights.”

The Home Office informed MailOnline that it does not comment on specific instances, and it is yet unknown how the teenager’s future in Britain would be affected by the visa being revoked.
This week, a new video featuring Ms. Abuqamar revealed that she would be appealing the ruling and that her comments from October—which were widely denounced by Minister of Policing Chris Philp—had been misquoted.
She said to the Middle East Eye, “My words were taken out of context and they were framed as me supporting harm to innocent civilians, which is completely false and completely untrue.”
“After making public statements endorsing the Palestinian right to exercise their right under international law to resist oppression and lift the illegal siege that has been imposed on Gaza for more than 16 years, the UK Home Office decided to revoke my student visa.”
“It’s an absurd claim that the Home Office is making by designating me as a national security threat,” the woman continued.
As a 19-year-old, all I have done is attend school, support social justice, and try to give back to my community.
Thus, to argue that I am a threat to national security would be an entirely unfounded accusation.
She informed the news organisation that a ‘human rights appeal’ had been filed against the ruling by her legal team.
Ms Abuqamar, a final-year law student, stated that she thought “freedom of expression is a fundamental human right that’s cherished here” before moving to Britain.
She now believes that “ethnic minorities, particularly Muslims and Palestinians like myself,” are not entitled to this privilege.
“We must rise against this oppression and reject the double standard in the application of human rights by public authorities,” the speaker asserted.
“It is a longstanding government policy that we do not comment on individual cases,” a Home Office official told MailOnline.
The first time Ms. Abuqamar made news was when she was interviewed by Sky News one day after Hamas attacked Israel in October of last year, during a pro-Hamas gathering in Manchester.
We are pretty proud, she declared to the broadcaster. We are quite happy about what has transpired. That the Palestinian resistance has progressed to this degree makes us proud.
A few days later, she told the BBC that she had been “misrepresented” and that “we do not condone at all the death of any innocent civilian.”
She went on to say that “everyone is in danger in Gaza.” She revealed that an Israeli “missile was dropped on their three-story residential building,” killing 15 of her family.
‘We need to make it known that we will not be silenced – that any attacks or actions or efforts to silence us from standing up against oppression and saying the truth and helping people to see through the propaganda – that won’t work anymore,’ Ms. Abuqamar said at a second pro-Palestine march.

Coming out as HIV positive was harder than coming out as gay — Gay activist Bisi Alimi
Bisi further added that an average man expects to follow a predefined path of growth, which includes teenage years through university level, to get a degree and a job.
He noted that he couldn’t follow the predefined path of growth, which was why he came out to declare his sexual orientation.
Bisi Alimi further said that his making his sexual orientation public doesn’t mean he did to throw a party, but rather to shun all expected people placed on him.
”I am not coming out to spite you; I have been gay since way back; I didn’t just become gay yesterday.”
