Woman, Dorcas Who Bathed Her Husband With Hot Water, Arrested (Gory Photos)
A woman named Dorcas Oluwabukola has been taken into custody by the Lagos State Police Command for reportedly hitting her spouse with hot water in the Meiran region of the state due to rumours of infidelity.

The suspect will be moved to the state Criminal Probe Department after the probe is finished, a police source in the Meiran division told the Punch.
It was said that the wife lost her cool after her husband went to his childhood friend’s wedding without her, which sparked an argument in which she doused him in hot water.
The police source said the division was keeping an eye on the husband’s condition, who had been hospitalised since the event, but reassured the public that the situation would be thoroughly probed.
“The incident did indeed occur. That was roughly six days ago. That narrative was real. Because Dorcas believed her husband had cheated on her, she intentionally splashed boiling water on him, according to a police source.

“They had an appointment to attend a party together. But the spouse went by himself. Ever since that day, the spouse has been hospitalised. Therefore, we are still keeping an eye on his progress. He’s still not been let go.
The wife was taken into custody right away since it was a capital crime. There’s no way to post bail. We await the right moment to transfer the case to the state Criminal Investigation Division.
Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the State Police Command, verified the incident to NAN and stated that it took place on December 18, 2023.
Before the husband decided to go alone, the couple was supposed to attend the wedding jointly, according to the PPRO.
According to Hundeyin, the woman boiled water and poured it on her husband following an argument about the decision.
According to a police spokesman, the victim is being treated in a medical facility at this time, and the command has started looking into what happened.

Bisi further added that an average man expects to follow a predefined path of growth, which includes teenage years through university level, to get a degree and a job.
He noted that he couldn’t follow the predefined path of growth, which was why he came out to declare his sexual orientation.
Bisi Alimi further said that his making his sexual orientation public doesn’t mean he did to throw a party, but rather to shun all expected people placed on him.
”I am not coming out to spite you; I have been gay since way back; I didn’t just become gay yesterday.”
